When I run namp from the terminal (linux) or command prompt (Windows) nmap will come back with the perfect list of what IP's are open, 100% correct. I run nmap -v -sS -P0 <ip range>.
I have now installed the nmap plugin for Nessus (version 3.0.2), and use the NessusClient GUI to run a port scan only again the same IP range, but it always comes back with about 70% of the ports open. under the Nmpa wrapper prefs I've tried using connect, SYN and FIN scans, but still no chaneg, I have also just turned off all the plugins and done a scan but it stll reports the same ports. Is it the NessusClient GUI?
