Hi all, This is my first mail to this list, I am new! I am running Nessus 3.0.3 on Debian. I have the daemon and the client in two separated machines. I want to enable those plugins that might be dangerous. I have found that setting the safe_checks directive to 'no' on both, the daemon (nessusd.conf) and client (.nessusrc) config files, does not work. With this the same message keeps being shown:
*** The plugins that have the ability to crash remote services or hosts have been disabled. You should activate them if you want your security audit to be complete On Internet (http://tadek.pietraszek.org/blog/2005/10/12/nessus-command-line-search/) I found that setting: begin(PLUGIN_SET) 14250 = yes 15094 = yes 15185 = yes .. end(PLUGIN_SET) Do work! But it seems not to be the "official" way to do it. Somebody know how to disable safe checks??
