Is anyone else having a problem with this NASL causing Lexmark Optra RT
printers to spool out all of the paper in the paper tray?

I've opened the NASL and from what I can see, it is supposed to test the
device and determine if it's a printer. For some reason, it doesn't and
then goes forward and fires a bunch of postscript strings at the device
in attempts to figure out what the service is. I'm assuming that since
it doesn't think it's a printer that it must believe it's an LPD service
running on a linux host, etc..

That's all well and good but the concern I have is that the NASL does
not recognize the Lexmark as a printer so it doesn't flag the IP as dead
and thus, goes ahead with the testing.

Anyway, if anyone has a solution I'd love to know what it is.

Thanks in advance.
