Julian,
Nikto.pl has to be in the path of whatever user
you run the nessus daemon as. Which would typically be root, but
YMMV.
You'll want to independently test Nikto.pl to
make sure the script runs without any errors about missing
dependencies.
Also, you have to restart the Nessus daemon in
order for it to pick-up Nikto if Nikto was not already installed before
Nessus.
And lastly, Nikto will sadly not work with the
Windows version of Nessus at this time. :(
Does anyone know how to get Nikto working with Nessus?
