We run Nessus on a variety of laptops for connection to different networks.
Each of the laptops has shown the same problem. I verified the
plugin_feed_info.inc is showing 20070305#### on all the laptops. I have
also ensured that only one instance of Nessus is installed.

Is the time on your system configured correctly ? Does the problem persist if you do 'nessusd -t -D' instead of 'nessusd -D' ?

I have more or less the same issue I didn't want to post it because not verified my other servers yet!

I have a issue, new plugins show up in the list after nessus-update-plugins, and I can use them (no problem) But when I modify some plugins the changes are not used unless I do a "nessusd -R" or above mentioned "nessusd -t D" If I kill the nessusd process, and only do a "nessusd -D" I will not have the changes I want.

Don't mind this post a lot, the server is only a test system, and used a lot for testing. ;-)
