I have my Nessus Console (Nessus Console for Windows
NT/2000/XP Version 1.4.5) installed on Win 2000
Server. Recently, I have developed some Nessus plugins
that use SMB libraries for Windows file and registry
checking. The plugins work fine with 2000/XP targets,
but they fail to extract file information from Vista
targets (although they can connect to it on port
139/TCP). Does anyone have any idea if there must be a
special setting or configuration to make the plugins
work against Vista?
