I have a problem with nessus 2 server on freebsd. The problem is that I have listening on localhost SSH, apache port 80 and 443 (ssl) mysql and smtp
When I scan with the nessus 3 client for windows connecting to the nessus 2 on free bsd I am getting a report that doesn't show all the ports as open only 80, 25(SMTP) and 3306(mysql) The scan log has only one error: escan_9_0_718_1.nasl depends on escan_detect.nbin which could not be found All plugins are updated to the last manually because if I do a fetch it says that the url for downloading the plugins can't be found (don't know why) Since I am using the nessus 3.0.5 build W313 client for windows the client requests protocol version 12. The server doesn't seem to make an error out of it even it's ver.2 The server version Is nessusd (Nessus) 2.2.9 for FreeBSD Since an upgrade to ver 3 is less desired because It's pretty hard to upgrade since the support is awful how can I solve this to get an accurate report. I have several nessusd v3 daemons running and they don't make flaws like this. Thank you in advance for your answers and support.
