Nessus 3 now uses the new ".nessus" format, which is XML based. I'm in
the process of developing documentation of the various different output
formats that have been used by Nessus over the years.

It's well worthwhile to check out the Parse::Nessus::XML Perl module on
cpan.org for reporting.

AFAIK, the windows versions doesn't output an NBE that I can
find. It does support XML and Plain Text (NSR) options. That's
versions 3.0.6 for Windows... XML sounds like a possibility for you for
DB import.

i don't know which version of nessus you are using, but i can
say that all the ones I know about support nbe format, which is pipe
delimited.

        Good Morning,

Are there any other reporting format options for Nessus other
than HTML? I have the need to upload Nessus scan results into a
database for our agencies internal audit reporting process. The problem
is the results must be in a delimited format. Any suggestions?

        Thanks!
