Typically, a default Nessus scan will exercise a network harder than a
default ISS scan will. Also, the rates of packets Nessus is sending from
RHEL may be faster than what you were achieving with ISS on Windows.

We get questions like this from Direct Feed customers occasionally, and
usually there are missing patches in router/firewall/switch vendors that
can resolve the issues.

Generally, when Nessus users move their Nessus scanners around, I always
remind them to consider if there are different VLANS, firewalls,
routers, .etc that were not being impacted before.
