I use nessus command line command to launch nessus scan jobs. I noticed that, nessusrc will change after each nessus job.
I'd thought this is a configuration file that should stay unchanged unless we manually change it. I'm using a configuraiton management tool to manage all configuration files - including nessusrc. The configuration tool would change the nessusrc file each time it notices that on-the-machine version is differrent from what in its repository. So why nessusrc keeps changing? What's the best way to keep track of the change should we need to rebuild the scanner machine? Thanks!
