I am running Nessus 3.0.6 for Linux with the nessusclinet 3.0.0.beta5 for
Linux as well. I have configured a Scan policy to scan for some specific
Vulnerabilities and I have a server configured with specific
vulnerabilities I Am scanning for to test the scan process I am developing.
When I run the scan with the policy I created with the GUI client I get
back the following vulnerabilities listing 4 low, 1 medium, and 1 high. The
lows being Web dav enabled ports 80 and 9696- Nessus ID 11424, SMB login -
Nessus ID 10394, Open port list with community name public - Nessus ID
14274, the medium being SMB Share Enumeration - Nessus ID 10395, and the
high being blank SA account - Nessus ID 10264. if I export the policy using
the export feature in the client then use the command line with the -c
option and give it the policy I exported I get the following results snmp
(161/udp) - Nessus ID 10264, http (80/tcp) - Nessus ID11424, microsoft-ds
(445/tcp) - Nessus ID10394, microsoft-ds (445/tcp) - Nessus ID 10395, Why
does it not pick up the 14274 and 10264 like the GUI scan does?
