hi, after a fresh install of nessus 2.x, i requested an activation code and used the code to get a tarball of all the plugins from the nessus offline link in the documentation (version 3 documentation however). after extracting the plugins and restarting nessus, one plugin required by the user was the syn port scan option, which no longer appeared in the port scan options after this install/plugin set. i think the plugin doesn't appear to be in the tarball. the plugin is found as 'syn scan' under port scanning on the web page, but i see no direct way of downloading a plugin from the search results. any advice would be appreciated, thanks. please cc me as i am not subscribed to the list. thanks.
