To convert a .nessus file which as Renaud said is XML, try running the
following command from a console:

"nessus -i report01.nessus -o report01.html"

Dear All,

I follow the solution advised with the trailing mail,

"When the scan is finished, go into the 'Report' tab, select the report
you want in the drop down menu at the top of the window, and click on
the 'Export' button which is next to it."

but the report coming by using the Nessus Client 3.0.0 is as shown
below:

The information you want is saved in the .nessus file (which is XML)
when you do File->Save. When exporting to HTML, this information is not
presented to the user.

If you want this information to be part of the report, I encourage you
to parse the XML file directly.
