There used to be a nessus client for windows that could be run from a
thumb drive, but I don't think it is being supported any longer.

you could try and fit Backtrack 1 on a thumbdrive and boot to it?
Seems like BT1 had nessus installed. probably no what you are looking
for.

If you figure it out, im sure alot of us here would be interested.

Maybe hit the Portable Apps forum for some help?
