Hi, I just installed on a new machine (ubuntu 7.10) nessus 3.2 The installation went fine and I created the first user and then nessus-adduser to add few others. I sen the autoupdate to no in the nessusd.conf I registered using the key received and nessus-fetch --check shows that nessus-fetch is properly configured to receive a Registered feed Trying to nessus-update-plugins -vv (double v) I don't have all the list of plugins scrolling on the screen . the command just end. + [ -z y ] + tar=-xvf + [ ! -d /opt/nessus//lib/nessus/plugins ] + pwd + cwd=/opt/nessus/sbin + tmpdir= + test -z + tmpdir= + test -z + tmpdir=/tmp + mkdir -m 0700 /tmp/nessus-update-plugins-5893 + cd /tmp/nessus-update-plugins-5893 + /opt/nessus//bin/nessus-fetch --plugins-md5 + test -s /opt/nessus//lib/nessus/plugins/MD5 + [ -x /usr/bin/diff ] + diff /opt/nessus//lib/nessus/plugins/MD5 all-2.0.tar.gz.md5 + cd /opt/nessus/sbin + rm -rf /tmp/nessus-update-plugins-5893 + exit 0
ls -l /opt/nessus/lib/nessus/plugins | wc -l 21494 but when I connect with a nessus client (the old nessuswx ) there are only 5 plugins available and downloaded to the desktop.
