Could you please provide more information about the issue?
 
- Nessus client/Server version and the operating system of the server.
- What are you seeing in the server logs (nessusd.messages), around the time
when this error occurs?
- Have you tried restarting the Nessus server to fix this issue.
- Were you able to scan before, but after making some changes to the scan
policy you cant scan?. If yes, what were the changes to the policy?
- Could you try creating a new scan policy, and check if the issue persists?
