Actually, I got this to work by following this:

 

http://hacktux.com/fedora/9/flash

 

It may not look applicable, but the section on installing ndiswrapper
fixes the issue.

We do not offer a 64 bits binary for Nessus on Fedora 9 (yet). What you
should do is to install the 32 bits compatibility libraries on your
system, and Nessus should install properly at that point.
