A client of mine has noticed that they receive an error message stating that 
the 'slp_srvreg.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry 
for the inconvenience......' after every scan.

 

I have never come across this before and was wondering if anyone else knew why 
this may be occurring.
