The property specification includes a recommendation that the ftp:// scheme should be used directly instead of relying on the file: scheme for FTP support. Should we add some wording to that effect in the release note as well, to notify users that code relying on this legacy feature to resolve files using FTP should use explicit ftp:// URLs instead?
