While testing the backport on `jdk25u-dev` ([openjdk/jdk25u-dev#896](https://github.com/openjdk/jdk25u-dev/pull/896)), the build failed because [JDK-8385131](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8385131) relies on `Http2TerminationCause` and `close(Http2TerminationCause)`, which were introduced in JDK 26 by your fix for [JDK-8326498](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8326498) ([`c19b12927d2`](https://git.openjdk.org/jdk/commit/c19b12927d2ac901ec8ccaa2de5897ee4c47af56)) In `jdk25u-dev`, `Http2Connection.close()` only sends a `GOAWAY` frame (if not already `HALF_CLOSED_REMOTE`) and does not close the underlying connection unless `shutdown(Throwable)` is called. >From a technical standpoint for `jdk25u`, would you recommend: 1. Backporting [JDK-8326498](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8326498) to `jdk25u-dev` first as a prerequisite, and then applying [JDK-8385131](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8385131) cleanly on top of it? 2. Or adapting the [JDK-8385131](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8385131) backport in `jdk25u-dev` to use the existing 25u `shutdown(Throwable)` / `close()` mechanism directly?
