The "snmptrapd" tool is *just* for receiving traps
(which is what you asked about)
The command "snmptrap" is used for sending traps.
You don't need any options to run the "snmptrapd" command.
Just run it (as root), and it will detach from the console
and run in the background, listening for incoming traps.
