Nope.
That's one possibility, of course - but mib2c is much more general than that.

It basically takes a config template ("mib2c.xxxx.conf"), and generates
some form of MIB output, based on that template.   Most of the examples
we provide are aimed at generating (sub/)agent code, but that just
reflects our main interests.
   If you constructed a suitable template file, you could probably
generate XML documentation, a PostScript diagram, a specialised
client application, or anything else that takes your fancy.

All you need to do is determine the basic "code" structure that you're
eventually aiming at, isolate the MIB-specific elements of this,
and turn them back into suitable "$node.token" and "@control@"
style statements.


The 'smidump' command (from the libSMI package) is a similar idea,
(though the config templates are different, of course!)
