I have added some Trap destination entries in the SnmpTargetAddrTable, SnmpTargetParamsTable and SnmpNotifyTable via an external SNMP manager but I don't receive any traps.
There doesn't seem to be any association between the MIBs to the "trapsink" mechanism. Traps seem to be only sent to TrapSink destinations (sink to MIB path works fine).
