Yes - that's correct. The trap daemon is designed to run "forever" - it doesn't exit until you explicitly kill it. Normally it will detach itself from the terminal, and run as a daemon. By giving the '-P' option, you are telling it not to do this, and to stay attached to the terminal until you kill it. > May I know what is the problem basically.
