Yes - but I wasn't aware that it had been generally agreed.

This might not have much of an impact on those using the toolkit
(though I think you're being overly optimistic there). But it
would have a *major* affect on those of us who are involved with
the internals.  And I'm not at all happy at the impression that
this is being presented as a fait accompli, without a proper
discussion first.

That said, I'm only one member of the development team, let alone
the much wider group interested in the agent internals.   So before
I get sucked into yet another solo argument, it would be useful to
gauge the general feeling.

Regarding the proposal to switch the SET processing model used by
the core agent internals to a more fine-grained structure based
more-or-less on the baby_steps framework, who is:

     a)  in favour
     b)  sympathetic  
     c)  undecided
     d)  sceptical
     e)  opposed

I'd be particularly interested in hearing what Wes thinks about this.
