Hello Thomas,

Hello,

I want to add MIB RFC-1213 and WINDOWS-NT-PERFORMANCE.
I use Version: 5.1.2 for Windows

In directory \usr\share\snmp\mibs there exist RFC-1213.txt and
WINDOWS-NT-PERFORMANCE.txt.

The WINDOWS-NT-PERFORMANCE mib is not included in the Net-SNMP source tree. If you want to use this mib you will have to write the code to implement it or wait for someone else to take it on.

When I start snmpd with:

snmpd -V -LF log.txt -c c:\usr\etc\snmp\snmpd.conf.txt -D -I

RFC-1212;WINDOWS-NT-PERFORMANCE
  ^^^^^^^^

If you meant RFC-1213 then the line above contains a typo. I haven't really looked through the mib file but it does look like RFC-1213 is included with the stock Net-SNMP distribution. It may be implemented already, maybe someone else can shed some light on this?

I get the error in log.txt:
Error opening specified endpoint "RFC-1212;WINDOWS-NT-PERFORMANCE"
Server Exiting with code 1
(The application snmpwalk print:End of MIB

snmpwalk -v1 -c public localhost .1.3.6.1.4.1.311

End of MIB) What does the error means ? What is the reason for this error ?

Well it might be that the agent really did fail to start. Try starting the agent with "snmpd -V -LF log.txt and see what happens.

Regards,
Andy

I don't no what I have to do to resolve this problem.
I found also none discription for this error whether in FAQ
or documention or manual pages.
