Hi all,
I have Created a MIB to send notification to the manager. I have also created the AGENT code (.c and .h) files. I have placed them in the "Agent /Mibgroup " directory and configured using the "-with-mib-modules" giving the name of the file as input.
Now i need to start the AGENT.
1. How do i start it.? What is the command to start my Agent alone. How do i stop the other agent processes.
2. I Run a program "snmptrapd -P" . WHich shows the output if i manually send the trap to the localhost. is that that AGENT??
3. Wat is the diffenrence between snmpd and snmptrapd.
