Hi,
I use net-snmp 5.2.1 on my Windows platform, using MG-Soft MIB
browser to comunicate with Net-snmp
agent with SNMP v3.
My question is : after MIB browser comunicate with Net-SNMP agent
(snmpd.exe as a register Windows service)for a
while,when I reboots my agent (stop snmpd.exe service and restart it
again), Its engindBoots is aways "1", and msgAuthoritativeEngineTime hold
by MIB browser is greater than the agent's snmpEngineTime, so,no time
synchronization procedure would be performed,it seems that MIB browser
donnot know my engine has rebooted. and it reported that message from
Net-SNMP agent donnot in Time Window, so comunication is broken between
MIB browser and Net-SNMP engine.
