Have you configured /etc/hosts.allow to make snmpd allow 127.0.0.1?

I use the following to configure version 5.0.9.

access emgrGroup "" v2c noauth exact everythingview none none
Unfortunately this doesn't work with 5.2.1. My attempts at connecting to snmpd via localhost always end up with this:
Connection from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:1036 REFUSED Connection from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:1036 REFUSED Connection from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:1036 REFUSED Connection from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:1036 REFUSED Connection from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:1036 REFUSED Connection from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:1036 REFUSED
Help? I ran the config tool but the resulting snmpd.conf file didn't fare any better.
