Bzzzzz....

You guys seem to think that the *only* time you'll register an OID is
if you want to control a scalar.  I humbly disagree.

Take the working and popular example of the "override" snmpd.conf
token, which is implemented via an instance registration.  It
overrides 1 and exactly 1 OID.  It is highly useful when you want to
completely disregard another object implementation and change the
behavior of something.  Because the lower OID would get higher
priority you'll be able to override it.

You could do something similar through a dlmod that would provide more
programmatic values to override some interface column widget or
something as well.

I admit fully that the scalar helper is more useful for scalars.
Please don't remove the functionality to register instances though.
