We are in the process of shutting down the 4.2.x and 5.0.x line of
code and are planning on release one more version from each of those

4.2.7.pre1 tar ball and a 5.0.10.pre1 tar ball. The release schedule
timeline for these can be seen on our project web page under the
development section.

Please let us know of any bugs that people find in this or future
release candidates for these branches in the next month or so. We'll
only be putting bug fixes, not new features, of course.

I'm finally sort of geared up again: I've successfully built both the CVS HEAD and the 4.2.7rc1 on both FreeBSD 5.3 and 4.10, and committed fixes as needed.

I'm not in a position to make promises towards the future considering my history of being AWOL, but do feel free to prod me if there are unsolved issues regarding FreeBSD.

Cheers,
