Hi,
I have scripts that runs on the agent through the net-snmp
extention feature, like that in snmpd.conf :

exec .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.51 iostatTotalErrors /opt/net-snmp/snmp-gathering/iostat.tcsh
exec .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.52 prtdiagSystemFault /opt/net-snmp/snmp-gathering/prtdiagFaults.tcsh
exec .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.53 prtdiagSystemFailure /opt/net-snmp/snmp-gathering/prtdiagFailure.tcsh
exec .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.54 prtdiagDetail /opt/net-snmp/snmp-gathering/checkPrtdiagOutput.tcsh
exec .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.55 volumesState /opt/net-snmp/snmp-gathering/checkVolumesOutput.tcsh

Im getting other values from other MIBS on the agents and I never get such errors.

The problem is that intermittently, Im getting the
noSuchInstance error from snmpget of one or another of the
above OID

I would like to know if I can
workaround this problem.

Thank you
Yan
