ok

i've allready read this
i know that it is a basic problem, but i was thinking the if i want to install the application on the nfsroot, that is like / when i launch the board, i have to put /nfsroot/DIR in prefix and exec-prefix
the directory hosted by the building machine is not seen as the same by the arm based board

There's also a configure option for where to install to.

        ./configure --help

  Installation directories:
    --prefix=PREFIX         install architecture-independent files
                            in PREFIX   [/usr/local]
    --exec-prefix=EPREFIX   install architecture-dependent files
                            in EPREFIX  [PREFIX]

    --with-install-prefix=PATH      Just for installing, prefix
                            all directories with PATH.
