So, for the ump-teenth time, I got bit by not setting CVSUSER while packaging a
release, meaning I had to go back and do several steps by hand. Looking at the
versiontag script, I don't see any reason that the whole '-d ...' bit can't be
removed. The script will be run from within a CVS controlled directory, so will
pick up the repository settings from there. Most, if not all, of the release
instructions require you to be in a CVS directory. So, any objections to just
ripping out the cvsuser stuff?
