now i have something else and i ll wait just for an
answer :)

.. i have written a small c programe that reads the
IPDiscards value..... I am trying to find the best way
for checking if my code works fine.. I want to find  a
way to change the value to the snmp server. But still
i dont know if this is possible... Can u plz shed some
light on this issue?
