inform request-response question

Hello,   It's the second time when i put this question. Can someone tell me what happens(i mean what snmpd does?) when there is no response for a inform request message? Normally the agent should retransmit inform request message. I am not seeing snmpd doing that. Can someone tell me how is the inform implemented? Thank you Bogdan
