Hi,
I have implemented my mib code using net-snmp 4.1.
But the data for that MIB is available in another
process so i need to use IPC for that. So i get a
complete row of that table in a call of IPC. And I
cache that row in MIB stub code. Just to speed up the
process.
What i need is: I want effectivly utilise that cache
in MIB stub code. That is, for all the subsequent
get-next requests, i should not call IPC to get the
data.
For that purpose, i need to know whether the request
has come from the same session of snmpwalk/get-next.
Is there any way to get this info?
I can get the from address of the request but users
may be different. So if there is any sequence number
for the same session, it will be easy. Is there any
such thing available?
Thanks in advance,
Saif
