Yes. > If I should - for what? Support. There has been no active development on the v4 line for some time now. The most recent release of that version was almost three years ago. Since then there have been a *lot* of fixes and improvements made, which are only available with the v5 releases. Any reports of problems with a 4.2.x release will be met with a suggestion that you try the current version instead. At the very least, you should probably upgrade to 4.2.6 which is the most recent version of the 4.2.x line. (Or possible 4.2.7.pre1, which has a few additional bugs fixed over 4.2.6. But that will almost certainly be the last activity on the 4.2.x line) Dave ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-coders mailing list Net-snmp-coders@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-coders
