Pass. Our client-side tools support string indexes, and it's been used in the core SNMPv3 control MIBs. So I would *hope* that managers and NMSs would support it. > Is it supported by SNMPv1 viewers? They ought to - it's been part of SNMP right from the very start. It's probably fair to say that most early tables tended to be integer-indexed.
