The correct token is "persistentDir". This is an error in Robert's FAQ.
I replaced persistDir with "persistentDir".. But even then the same warning is displayed...
I created directories agent1 and agent2 inside /var/net-snmp .. and then executed
following commands one by one
export SNMPCONFPATH=/usr/local/share/snmp/agent1:/usr/local/share/snmp:/var/net-snmp/agent1
echo "persistentDir /var/net-snmp/agent1" > /var/net-snmp/agent1/snmpd.conf
I hope that I am in correct path.
What should be placed under /usr/local/share/snmp/agent1? Why this path is required?
