It gets better :-( Running that programme against a locally running snmpd
gives me clean trace e.g. (peername=127.0.0.1)

GetRequest(42) R=373369654 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0
GetResponse(46) R=373369654 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0=8600 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0=[|snmp]

as opposed to across the wire

GetRequest(36) R=1459451023 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 .1.3.6.1.2[|snmp]
GetResponse(36) R=1459451023 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0=1473266649 =[|snmp]

Same programme, just different session.peername :-(

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Patrick
