snmp bulk get performance

Hi, I wrote an application that does snmpbulkget to different tables on one host synchonously. That takes a long time if the table is big. I saw on the website an asynchonouly application, but that kind of parallelize the queries to differnet hosts, but to each individual one, the queries are still done one by one. My question is: is there a way to improve performance in my application.
