I want to extend agent on the base of net-snmp to manage my network devices. But I have no idea about how to set data to my devices. After the agent receives the msgs from NMS, how can it set the datas to devices? Can I define ioctl functions in my device drivers and call the functions in the msg process routines? How about get data from devices? Could anyone give me some advice? Thank you very much!
