It has previously been noted that there's a licensing/legal issue with the
code for snmpnetstat. This is affecting the release of 5.3. Dave is
working on a rewrite/fix that eliminates the code in question.

The problem is, the same code is in 5.2.2. I believe we have three main
choices.

1. Do nothing.

2. Drop snmpnetstat for this version.

3. Wait for Dave Shield's fix for 5.3 and port it to 5.2.

Costs:

1. We're in legal jeopardy.

2. We lose functionality that's been around since at least 2003. Google
gives 56,000 hits.

3. Mucks up our release schedule.

Benefits:

1. Easy

2. Fixes our legal problem and we can stick to the release schedule.

3. Fixes are legal problem and we ship a complete product.
