Re: Problem with net-snmp 5.2.1.2

Hello

I am using montavista linux2.4.18  on ixp425 platform (armv5teb).

In the configuration file used for ucd-snmp 4.2.6 i have used com2sec

 view and access directives for the community access. But if i use same configuration file for this net-snmp 5.2.1.2 iam not able to get any information from the agent. It was saying no response from SNMP Agent.

So I have made one configuration file using snmpconf having basic community name for read write , so i can access all others mibs except interface MIB. Interface mib iam able to get only few parameters ,with ucd-snmp 4.2.6 i am getting all parameters in interface mib on same platform.

 

Please anybody help me regarding this. Is this a configuration file problem or something else.

What platform are you running on? ('uname -a')
