I haven't tried walking the hrSWRunTable and might try this. What I really
wanted to do though was use proc in conjunction with the monitor command in
order for the agent to generate rising and falling alarms when a Windows
process dies/starts (flagged when prError becomes 0/1) and restart processes
setting procfix. I can do this fine for windows excutables that reside in
directories that don't contain spaces and it seems a shame to throw away
much working functionality for the sake of a space in a path name.
I am using NetSNMP Version 5.1.3.1
A work around is to use the DOS 8.3 name instead of the long name that
contains spaces. Dir /x will show the short name. For example, on my
system:
c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\
is:
c:\Progra~1\MOZILL~1\
BTW, the 8.3 name is *generated* on each machine. This means that on
one computer Mozilla Firefox may be MOZILL~1, but on another it can be
something else. On my system Mozilla Thunderbird is MOZILL~2 only
because I installed it after Firefox.
