I stand corrected....it *does* cure the problem. Now, the behavior appears to be: before subagent starts: 'nosuchname' as agent starts - with the client polling once per second: - one 'correct' answer - one timeout - a bunch of 'nosuchnames' - followed then by all 'correct' responses.
