That depends on the speed of your network interface, the speed and load of the
box running snmptrapd, and what handlers you have configured for the traps
being received.
At least for *peaks* of traps it may also be worth to tune your UDP
buffers. Check the snmp.conf(5) manual page for the serverRecvBuf config
token.
You'll get your best answer by actually running snmptrapd in the environment
you need, and sending large amounts of traps to it.
