Hello,
If this is just an experiment with no long-term
possibilities and is in a controlled environment, it
probably does not matter what you use. I think the
project hard codes 8072. The important thing is not
to duplicate an existing OID.
On the other hand, if this does develop into
something more permanent, I would recommend requesting
your own enterprise ID from the IANA and then reading
"Understanding SNMP MIBs" by David Perkins and Evan
McGinnis. It will help you immensely to develop a
proper MIB.
