No. David is talking about the address used for AgentX communication. I suspect that you're actually referring to SNMPv1 traps (though you've never explicitly said so). You probably need to use the snmp.conf directive "clientAddr". There's a way of including this in the snmpd.conf file (so that it only applies to the agent), though I can't immediately recall the exact syntax. It should be explained in the man pages (snmp_config(5) et al).
